EnterpriseHybrid-RAGExact terms. Deeper context.

Connect enterprise knowledge with hybrid lexical and dense retrieval, fused through reciprocal rank fusion.

01 / The fusion problem

Neither search
alone is enough.

Lexical search finds the exact identifier. Dense search finds the paraphrase. Combining them can improve coverage; results depend on the corpus and evaluation.

  1. 01

    BM25 lexical retrieval

Ranks documents by term frequency against inverse document frequency. Precise on identifiers, error codes and named entities.

    Exact terms
  2. 02

    Dense semantic retrieval

Ranks documents by embedding proximity. Finds the rephrased question that shares no keywords with the source document.

    Paraphrase
  3. 03

    Reciprocal rank fusion

Merges the two ranked lists by position rather than by score, so neither retriever's scale dominates the result.

    Rank fusion
  4. 04

    Context assembly

Chunks are assembled into context with source attribution, so a downstream reviewer can see where each claim came from.

02 / Local illustration

Search a small
sample corpus.

This deterministic illustration matches words against five sample documents. It does not run BM25, embeddings, Qdrant or RRF and is not a retrieval benchmark.

Sample query

Try:

5 sample documents · exact-word matching

  • Enter a word and run the search.

Illustration only. No index, vector store or embedding model is involved.

03 / Scope and verification

Retrieval quality
is yours.

The pipeline is only half of it. The other half is your documents, your indexing and your evaluation set.

No benchmark claimed

Retrieval quality depends on your documents, indexing and evaluation. No performance or answer-accuracy benchmark is asserted here.

Source and publication

Source availability and publication records do not certify the current Next revision. Review release notes, tests and deployment assumptions for your environment.

04 / Source and publication

Where to go
next.

The current development branch, the running documentation, the published original and its permanent record.

The DOI identifies a published record. Consult that record for its exact version and files; it does not automatically identify the latest Next commit.

05 / Discuss your use case

Start with your
questions.

Bring the representative questions your users actually ask. Those are the only honest test of a retrieval configuration.
